After providing an excellent service to our patients for the last 10 years, Malvern Sleep Clinic is pleased to announce that in addition to Dr. Sukarno N Chaudhry who is our medical director, we are adding three more sleep specialists to meet our multi-disciplinary patients comprehensive care needs. With our multi-disciplinary team we have now the ability to address any sleep disorder that your patient might have patient care needs.
Dr. Sukarno Nawaz Chaudhry, MD, FRCPC, ABIM
Medical Director
Dr. Sukarno Nawaz Chaudhry, MD, FRCPC, ABIM is American Board Certified in Internal Medicine, Pulmonary Medicine, Critical Care Medicine and Sleep Medicine. He is a fellow of the Royal College of Physicians of Canada and is a member of the UK Royal College of Physicians. From 2006 to the present, he is the Attending Staff, Critical Care Medicine, Brandon Regional Health Centre, Brandon Manitoba; From 2007 to the present, he has served as Adjunct Professor of Medicine, Shulick School of Medicine and Dentistry, University of Windsor and is the Attending Staff Respirologist, Critical Care and Sleep Medicine, Windsor Regional Hospital. From 2012 to the present. He has completed postgraduate clinical training in Italy, Pakistan, the University of Calgary, the University of Manitoba, Wayne State University Hospital in Detroit, Monmouth Medical Centre/MCP Hanneman University in New Jersey and at Etobicoke General Hospital. As well as Ontario, he is licensed to practice in Manitoba and Michigan and is a member of multiple medical societies and associations. He has served as the Technical Director of 5 IHFs/ICHSCs.
Dr. Marc Narayansingh, M.D., FRCP (C)
Expert in neurological diseases
Dr. Narayansingh graduated from the Faculty of Medicine at the University of Manitoba in Winnipeg. He completed his residency training in Neurology at the University of Alberta and his fellowship training in Sleep Medicine at the University of Toronto. Dr. Narayansingh has a special interest in hypersomnias/narcolepsy, restless leg syndrome/ nocturnal limb movements, parasomnias, nocturnal seizures and sleep disorders associated with common neurological diseases.
Dr. A. Chelvanathan, HonBSC, MBChB, ABIM FRCP ( C )
Respirology & Sleep Medicine
Dr. Anushya Chelvanathan received her Medical Degree from University of Bristol, UK and completed her General Internal Medicine residency training at the McMaster University, Hamilton. She finished her postgraduate clinical residency training in Respirology. She went on to further sub-specialize in Sleep Medicine at McMaster University. Her training focus is on sleep disorder breathing. Dr. Chelvanathan is a fellow of the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada in Internal Medicine and Respirology. She is also a diplomate of the American Board of Internal Medicine in General Internal Medicine and Respirology.
She has also successfully completed the examination for special competence in sleep medicine.Dr. Chelvanathan has a keen clinical sense and is dedicated to delivering highly competent as well as compassionate care to all her patients. Her special interests include medical education, primary and secondary preventative medicine in respirology, management of patients with sleep disordered breathing, narcolepsy/hypersomnia and nocturnal movement disorders.
Dr. Berge Marcarian, M.D.,FRCS(C) ENT
Sleep Specialist
Dr. Marcarian is a graduated from the Faculty of Medicine, University of Toronto and obtained specialty training in Otolaryngology (ENT) from Dalhousie University, Halifax. He is also certified by the American Board of Otolaryngology with a subspecialty in Sleep Medicine. NTSC is very pleased to have his particular expertise for our Sleep Disorder patients.
Dr. Zachary Adirim, MD,FRCPC,DABPN
Psychiatry & Sleep Specialist
Dr. Adirim attained his Doctor of Medicine from the University of Sydney, NSW, Australia. He completed his psychiatry residency from the University of Toronto, ON, Canada, and sleep medicine fellowship at Yale University, CT, USA. He is a Fellow of the Royal College of Physicians of Canada, and Diplomate of the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology. He is passionate about comprehensive care across the breadth of sleep disorders.
Iqbal Singh Dhanju
Technical Director at Etobicoke Brampton Sleep Clinic and Malvern Sleep Clinic
Experienced Technical Director of two very successful sleep clinics in Toronto, Canada with a demonstrated history of working in the field of Sleep Medicine for the last 20 years and also 25 years in the field of computer science with the Ontario Government in Canada. Dr. Iqbal Singh Dhanju has a very unique combination of academic qualifications and skills with Master of Science (MSc) degree in computer science from North Dakota State University (NDSU) USA along with Doctorate Degree (PhD.) in insect physiology (Entomology) Bangalore, India.
